Omar plus guest TBC - Standing Room Tickets

Omar plus special guests on Sunday 17th November at Hideaway Jazz Club London
Sunday, 17th Nov 2019

We have now released a limited amount of Standing Room Only Tickets. Holders of these tickets will only be allowed entry into the club strictly after 8.15pm, and will be watching the show from our designated standing area or from the bar - please note there is not always an opportunity to lean, so we advise that you should only purchase a standing ticket if you are able to stand unaided for the duration of the performance. Additionally, you will not be able to be grouped with any seated ticket holders, unless seats become available on the night.

Following an injury to Martha High which has seen the cancellation of the rest of her 2019 tour dates, her special guest for the night, Omar, is stepping up for one very special night - make sure you join the UK King of Neo Soul, and his guests to be announced.

“When I grow up, I wanna be like Omar” Stevie Wonder
“Still ...one of the best voices I’ve ever heard” Erykah Badu

Stevie Wonder, Angie Stone, Syreeta Wright, Common, Estelle, Incognito’s Bluey Maunick, Erykah Badu, Carleen Anderson, Caron Wheeler, Leon Ware, India Arie, Lamont Dozier, Zed Bias, Pino Palladino, Roger Sanchez, Guru & Jazzmatazz, Maddslinky, Kele le Roc, Mario Biondi - all these people have one thing in common - all are admirers of, and past collaborators with the truly unique, gifted, original artist... British soul pioneer Omar.

The musical history is renowned and the Lye-fook family has musical talent embedded deep in its DNA.  Omar’s father Byron worked as a studio musician and drummer with Bob Marley, Horace Andy and even The Rolling Stones.

Following on from 2013’s album ‘The Man’ (his first for London based independent label Freestyle Records), 2017 saw the release of  ‘Love In Beats’ – an album that further cemented his enviable reputation as an outstanding soul artist.
