TICKET UPDATE Monday 6th February - all tickets for this show have now sold out.
A Lovers Rock Valentine’s day special bought to Hideaway by our good friends Fig Tree Entertainment and featuring a rare reunion show for Tradition ('Gambling Man', ‘Movin’ On’ and ‘Breezin’’) plus a very special headline performance from the legendary Sandra Cross (‘Country Living’ and ‘You're Lying’).
Tradition formed in Brent, North West London in 1976, initially as Special. The original line up comprised Chris “Buff Head” Henry(bass guitar), Paul ‘Echo’ Thompson(Keyboards, Vocals), Tony ‘Drummie’ Matthews(drums), Les Trooper Mc Neil(guitar and vocals) Paul Dawkins(Vocals). In 1977 the band signed to Venture Records and released early singles including 'Moving On' and 'Summertime'. They were also headline acts at Anti-Nazi League’s Rock-Against Racism tour. They won best single award from Echoes in 1978 for the song Breezin and were signed to RCA the same year.
With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, more than 12 albums and singles which were followed by headlined tours throughout Europe, America and Japan, and 7 international music awards, Sandra Cross is regarded as one of the leading forces of England’s ‘lover’s rock’ era. She has become one of the most successful and respected singing talents coming out of the UK. As well as delving into her rich back catalogue, Sandra will also be performing tracks from her new album 'Sing'.
