Sunday Lunch - Art Deco Swing Quartet

Art Deco Swing Quartet for Sunday Lunch at Hideaway Jazz Club Streatham
Sunday, 3rd Jul 2016

We welcome the Art Deco Swing Quartet to Hideaway for Sunday Lunch! Enjoy an afternoon of top music from the jazz/swing era and don't forget to bring your dancing shoes!

Art Deco Quartet has an established reputation for performing classic popular tunes from the 1930s and 1940s. Tunes with lasting appeal such as the sophisticated 'Cheek to Cheek', the shady 'Mack the Knife', the powerfully romantic 'My Funny Valentine', the infectious 'Brazil' and the mysterious 'Caravan'. The style is elegant, the music melodic and the attitude is professional. The quartet is augmented by the seductive vocal talents of Betty Davila when the occasion demands.

Line up: John Armer (acoustic guitar/trombone) Mick Parker (keyboard/accordion), Mick Prendergast (double bass), Richard Marchangelo (drums) and the unique vocal talent of Betty Davila.
